Reindeer Applewood Farm has been known far and wide for the past 10 years for its Reindeer herd and the programs that Farmer Brian presented to visitors and school children about these wonderful and entertaining animals. During 2008 we lost 2 reindeer to a tick born illness which left our bull, Spruce and 1 female, Millie. This winter of 2009 Spruce died due to old age and declining health. Millie went to a good home. The result is that, regrettably, Applewood Farm no longer has a reindeer contingent for your enjoyment. |

Daisy and her Doodle Ducks which are 2 white Pekin off spring and are the real characters at Applewood. |

Sophie
Sophie is a miniature Sicilian Burro and is 10 years old. Look closely and you will see the cross on her back...tradition says these burrows are descended from the same burro that carried Mary to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus! |

BIG
|
Bronson (Big), is just that....a very, very big horse, part shire and quarter horse standing 17 1/2 hands high! He is retired now but you can see him grazing in the pasture when you come to visit. |
