Christmas at Applewood is intended for those folks who wish to experience and create a family memory.  We are much more than a Christmas Tree Farm.  If your objective is to spend some quality time with your family and friends, enjoying a truly unique and memorable experience in the country, then Applewood Farm is the place for you.

Applewood Farm charges a nominal admission of $3.25 per person (children under 3 are free).  If you are only looking for a Christmas tree, then we recommend that you visit one of the many other farms in the area because our admission charge is non-refundable.

2008 will celebrate our 33rd Christmas at the farm and our 31st year selling trees.   January, 2007, marked a new & exciting beginning at the farm, with our son, Bryce, taking over management of our field operations.

Our log barn is famous locally for its extensive display of lights and beautiful greens which adorn every nook and cranny!   Guests are treated to a Christmas wonderland while they browse among the 8 model train displays, Santa's Workshop and a selection of Christmas ornaments, wreaths, roping, holly, pine cones, and greens.  This year we are offering beautiful fresh table & door/window decor by Bonnie Hummer.  These "Gatherings" are elegant, reasonably priced and sure to compliment your home this holiday season.

The Applewood Express is a narrow gauge 1870's vintage steam train that will carry our guests on a scenic 6/10 mile tour of the lower meadow area of Applewood Farm.  This Herschell S-24 "Iron Horse" locomotive is a classic antique.

Hay wagons will be running continuously through the fields of Christmas trees, allowing families easy access as they choose and harvest their own fresh, fragrant Applewood Farm Christmas Tree. This year we also offer a selection of just-cut Fraser Fir trees which are delivered weekly so you are assured of their freshness.

We have a selection of Douglas Fir, Blue Spruce and White Spruce, and Scotch Pine growing on our farm.

Douglas Fir $5.00 per foot
A seven foot tree costs $35.00 plus tax.
Blue Spruce & White Spruce $4.00 per foot

After you cut your tree (saws are available on loan) and we measure and tag it in the field, we will haul it back to the barn for baling (free of charge),  drilling* ($2.00) and shaking* ($2.00).  All while you leisurely return to the barn by hay wagon or walking and have time to browse in the Christmas shop and the Reindeer Antler Room.
